INGREDIENTS:
For Crust:
4 Cups steamed riced cauliflower
1/2 Cup flour of choice
3 tbs nutritional yeast
1 tsp each of preferred seasonings
1 Flax “egg” (3 tbs water + 1 tbs ground flax seeds)
1/4 – 1/2 cup of water
Toppings:
BBQ sauce of choice
1/4 sliced bell pepper
1/4 sliced red onion
1/2 cup mushrooms
Vegan cheese of choice
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rice the cauliflower then steam on stovetop for 10 mins or in microwave for 2-3 mins until soft. Once cooled, use nut milk bag or cheese cloth to squeeze out the liquid (will yield a lot, get out as much as possible). Then in a bowl, add drained cauliflower along with the flour, nutritional yeast, seasonings, and flax “egg” and water, stir to combine. Line baking dish of choice with parchment paper lightly coated with oil and mold dough to the pan. Bake at 450°F for 10 mins (partially cooked), remove from oven, put on toppings. Place back in the oven for an additional 10-15 mins until cooked fully. Serve and enjoy.
