2 ripe plantain
1 tsp allspice
1 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs dried thyme
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne

Herb Sauce
1 half bunch of cilantro
5-7 leaves of sage
3-4 tbs avocado oil
Juice of one lime
Salt and pepper to taste

In a small bowl add all the jerk spices and avocado oil, mix together and set aside. Peel and slice the plantain then add to a large mixing bowl and toss with the marinade until fully coated. Grill off all pieces until charred and slightly crispy. Meanwhile add all herb sauce ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Serve plantain with a side of sauce and squeeze of lime and enjoy.
