If you though you knew all the ways to make plantain, think again! Try this ASAP!


1-2 Green plantains
Salt to taste
Sautéed white onion

Burger Sauce
1/4 cup vegan mayo
3 tbs ketchup
1 tbs mustard
1 tbs relish


Peel and slice your plantain into fry shape. Fry in avocado or grasped oil until golden and crispy. Toss with salt to taste and set aside. Dice about 1/4 of an onion and sauté over medium heat until browned and fragrant. Set aside. For burger sauce, add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix to combine. Assemble fries with vegan cheese if desired along with the sauce and sautéed onions, as well as extra green onion, cilantro or chives to garnish. Serve and enjoy
